What are SSL Certificates?

SSL Certificates are small data files that digitally bind a key to an organization’s details. Typically, SSL is used to secure credit card transactions, data transfer and logins, however recently Google has announced that their Chrome browser will mark all sites as "Not Secure" if it does not have a SSL Cerfificate.

SSL Certificates help secure your website, improves Google Ranking and shows users and clients that their data is safe on your website.

Chrome will mark all HTTP sites as 'not secure' starting in July

Starting in July, Google Chrome will mark all HTTP sites as "not secure," according to a blog post published today by Chrome security product manager Emily Schechter. Chrome currently displays a neutral information icon, but starting with version 68, the browser will warn users with an extra notification in the address bar.
